We are going to start from the ancient church of San Lorenzo and, through the medieval gate of Porta Ticinese, we will enter into the historical neighbourhood where used to be located the blacksmiths and merchants' workshops.

The guided tour will finally take you to the Navigli district, where are located the Darsena, the naviglio Pavese and the naviglio Grande. We will discover the role of Leonardo da Vinci and how the Milanese used his extraordinary inventions to improve the canals' system.
