Igor Krutoy and Lara Fabian dedicated a touching song "Angel Pass Away" to a recently lost friend, Konstantin Sedov, who had passed away at the age of 42. Sedov served as the Governor of Moscow Region, and he had been a friend of Krutoy. The government official died of cancer at the end of 2012.
"A large number of people have contributed to the creation of our competition. One of them was my very close friend Kostya Sedov, and this is the first time, when he's not here", Krutoy said in a quavering voice.
Sedov's mother was present at the concert, and after the performance of this touching composition she promptly left the hall with tears in her eyes. (https://fr-fr.facebook.com)
