At least 15 people were killed in a series of explosions in northern Nigeria on Monday, according to Reuters. The bomb blasts occurred in Kano, Nigeria's biggest northern city. The attackers targeted bars in a Christian district in the largely Muslim city.
Several packages containing improvised explosive devices were placed and detonated around the area, which was previously targeted by Islamist militant group Boko Haram. Witnesses reported hearing at least three blasts.
No group has officially claimed responsibility for the attack.
