Police have dismantled a Roma camp in northern France, in another sign of the Socialist government's tough line on the minority. Some 200 people had been living on the site at Roubaix near Lille.
French Interior Minister Manuel Valls has sparked controversy by saying that the Roma should return to Romania or Bulgaria.
