In a cringe-worthy report, a 67-year-old Kentucky woman was recently found dead on her very own property. Authorities believe the lady’s dogs, some of which were classified as hybrid-wolves, ate parts of her body.
The woman, Patricia Ritz was reported missing after neighbors called police, claiming that they hadn’t see her in about a week. The bones were discovered on her land, and the county coroner is working to positively identify the remains and cause of death.
No foul play is currently suspected in the death, however it’s thought Ritz was very sick. She lived with approximately 50 dogs.
Dozens were the wolf cross breed. When the remains were discovered, it was reported that the dogs appeared as though they hadn’t eaten or received water in several days.
It also looked as though they had consumed most of their owner’s body to survive. A human skull and a jawbone was all that was found and is thought to be Ritz.
Ritz had a history of animal cruelty and the reason that there was an abundance of dogs on her property was because she failed to spay and neuter the animals.
