Fourteen people die in bus-rickshaw crash in India

Fourteen people died on Friday in a collision between a bus and an auto rickshaw in Gujarat's Kheda district.

According to reports, the auto rickshaw was travelling from Ahmedabad from Pavagadh, on Nadiad-Mahemdavad highway.

The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation bus was traveling in the opposite direction. The rickshaw was transporting 14 passengers. The crash happened near Andhaj village.

According to reports, ten passengers and the rickshaw driver died on the spot.

Three seriously were admitted to Ahmedabad Civil hospital but succumbed later to their injuries, according to reports.

The majority of those who died were originally from Devki Vansol village, in Kheda district.
