Opa-locka double shooting: Two killed, one injured

Two men were shot and killed in separate incidents in Opa-locka, Florida in 24 hours. It was reported that the Miami-Dade homicide detectives are still investigating both incidents, and no arrests have been made.

The latest incident took place in front of a home at around 3 a.m. on August 22, when a man and his girlfriend sitting in their parked car were shot by a drive-by assailants. The man, identified as 27-year-old David Booth, died at the scene. His girlfriend was injured and was taken to Ryder Trauma Centre at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

It was reported that in a separate incident at about 4:30 p.m. on August 21, a man was shot and killed by a robber who ambushed him in the parking lot of a supermarket.
