more thoughts on this AEG trial as it begins to close (read description)

from what i can see, AEG is at more of an advantage than the jacksons- because TECHNICALLY they did not hire conrad murray. no contract was signed, by michael NOR AEG. they stayed on one message: michael wanted murray, so we obeyed michael's wishes. katherine jackson should have really gotten a better attorney to keep them on track. a good attorney would actually be able to use that information against them (too bad meserreau couldn't switch to representing the plaintiffs in this case), but all that happened was that the two individuals clearly the most responsible for the chain of events leading to michael's murder (outside of murray) were dismissed form the trial.

the amount of money ms. jackson has been asking for is nonsensical- michael's children are not in grave danger of starving, nor is their father coming back to do any more performances. if the jacksons are rewarded, the amount most likely is going to be severely reduced. one billion dollars is NOT going to bring michael back. people have gone through a lot more, and have been rewarded in court for a lot less.

and the brothers (who were doing shows promoted by AEG) should be cross-examined on account of them working for the very company that had a hand in their brother's murder. michael spoke on the fact that his brothers would do anything to be on tv and get attention, so... i'm not surprised that they didn't hink of how disrespectful that could be to their brother.

"I think all my success and fame --and I've wanted it. I've wanted it. Because I wanted to be loved. That's all... I wanted to become such a wonderful performer that I would get loved back."- teacher MJ
