Two males in Thailand are in serious hot water after Rihanna posted a photo of herself holding an endangered primate called a loris. The photograph was taken during the pop star’s recent trip to the island of Phuket.

Rihanna shared many images which were taken during the holiday on Twitter and Instagram, but the one of her holding the loris garnered over 230,000 likes and had a caption which noted “Look who was talkin dirty to me!".

Given the attention, many people were outraged over the photo as it is illegal for anyone in Thailand to charge tourists money for taking a photo with the endangered species. Immediately, the government ordered the Ministry of Natural Resources and Phuket authorities to investigate the matter and find out who was responsible.

A 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old were arrested during a local raid. The two lorises confiscated from their possession will reportedly be returned to a nearby national park. The suspects could face up to four years in jail. And the two lorises were returned to a nearby national park.
