ROUGH CUT (NO NARRATION)
STORY: Paris Fashion Week kicked off on Tuesday (September 24) with a fresh face, as award-winning French designer Christine Phung presented her Spring/Summer 2014 pret-a-porter collection on the rooftops of the French capital. Set against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower over the city's landscape, the collection, called 'Liquid Dilusion' was presented on an unconventional catwalk as models walked around square planks of water. Hair and makeup were kept minimalist to put emphasis on large patchwork prints and reversible jacquard and digitally printed lace. Silhouettes were slim and hemlines long, while the collection's colours were restricted to bold blues, blacks and whites. Phung, who is a Fashion Week debutante summed it up: "modern and feminine and sexy but subtle."
