50-year-old Robert Gursky had been inside the TD Bank on Main Street when he witnessed the other male in the building with a firearm tucked under his shirt. In an effort to make known his fear of a robbery without being obvious, Gursky walked up to a teller and said “gun”, and wrote a note with the same word but never gave it to her.
A bank worker followed safety protocol and triggered the panic alarm which notified police. When cops arrived, they immediately questioned the suspect with the gun but it turned out, he was
Law enforcement authorities then tracked down Gursky and spoke with him. After the conversation, he was arrested and charged with breach of peace due to the panic he caused inside the bank.
He was later released from jail on a promise to appear in court September 25th.
