Su Qixiu was pulled alive from this well in China after a 16-day ordeal trapped inside it.
She fell down the well as she looked for wild herbs in Henan province.
During the agonising wait of more than two weeks to be rescued she survived on rainwater and corn grains which had fallen in.
Her husband says they organised a search when she went missing but had almost given up hope.
(SOUNDBITE)(Mandarin) LI QUNMING, HUSBAND OF SU QIXIU, SAYING:
"She went out on September 1st and then we couldn''t find her. We organised about 10 villagers and looked for her everywhere. We also put up photos of her but we couldn't find her. In the end, on the 16th, she was found in the well."
Su's now recovering in hospital.
Chinese media says doctors are describing her survival as a miracle.
