He is now using those talents in a partnership with AARP to anchor a series which is geared towards teaching older folks all about the leading innovations in technology.

Called “Takei’s Take,” the show will air every two weeks for a total of 12 episodes.

The 76-year-old will go over topics ranging from the sharing economy to Google Glass. An editorial director for AARP stated “Older Americans are living the digital life and they’re hungry for video content. George’s appeal spans generations and viewers are in for a treat as he puts his comedic touch on explaining the latest that the tech world has to offer.”

However Takei hopes the series will also draw in younger generations. Takei wants the audience to not only learn about technology trends, but also how to incorporate modern ideas into everyday living.
