After the debacle of Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker is now all set for his next, which would be a historical film on the Indus Valley civilisation. Just like his previous acclaimed movie 'Jodhaa Akbar', this one too will be narrated in the form of a love story and is based on Mohenjodaro.
Earlier Ashutosh was planning to rope Hrithik Roshan in the film, and the actor was also keen to be a part of the project. However the film kept getting delayed, and after waiting for a over year now, Gowariker has apparently signed Sushant Singh Rajput to play the male lead role in his film.
Meanwhile, this is the second film in which Sushant has replaced Hrithik, as the Krrish 3 star was also considered by Shekhar Kapur for his project Paani. For Paani, Sushant will be paired with a young leading actress from West, and for Ashutosh's next, the hunt for the leading lady is still on.
