Grant Brauderick (starts at 0:01)
Grant Brauderick performs beautifully on two different guitars he brings in with him. He shares a bit about those instruments and about his experiences traveling and performing for soldiers stationed overseas. His spot concludes with the first recorded performance of his song "Catch a Dream", now a staple of Grant's sets.
Jordan Franz (starts at 25:20)
Jordan also performs on acoustic guitar for us, and we have a conversation about the writers who have influenced her music. We also discuss her experiences in Dallas creating and performing music.
Ellen Once Again (starts at 42:30)
Soulful pianist and vocalist Ellen Once Again joins us with her keys and performs a new song live in studio. She reached out to us when she heard about the special and we loved her work and asked her to join us.
Dustin Cavazos (starts at 58:01)
Oak Cliff's Dustin Cavazos has a large following and he speaks on what it takes to build and maintain an audience as an independent musician. He performs two different songs, his popular single Everything Everybody Told Us, and the (at the time) brand new song Day Dream and Make Believe.
Deborah Driscoll and Matt Baron (1:34:00)
Matt is a brialliant guitarist and Debb has a gorgeous, soulful voice. Matt's a bit shy, but their performance of Debb's song Strangest of Days is amazing. Debb and Matt speak about recording brand new albums and releasing them.
