Faustino Munoz in Barcelona, Spain is one man who takes his bottled water seriously.
He can tell the difference in taste from dozens of different kinds of water, which is a skill he has cultivated since he was a child helping his mother in the kitchen.
For 30 years, Munoz has worked in the same shop as the expert on the 200 different kinds of bottled water that they sell from all over the world.
Munoz has a personal collection with over a thousand different kinds of water bottles including some valuable limited editions.
Unlike many other people, Munoz believes that every kind of water has a unique taste, color, and smell and that no two springs produce the same kind of water.
Munoz said in an interview that, “In Spain we have 151 different springs and each one is completely unique.”
As part of his job, he tests the mineral content of different kinds of spring water from around the world, which gives each kind of water its specific characteristics.
He is also an expert when it comes to pairing food with certain kinds of water.
