Costa Concordia pulled off Italian reef

In an unprecedented maritime salvage operation, engineers in Italy have slowly dragged the Costa Concordia cruise ship off the reef where it has been stuck since January 2012.

But progress was much slower than predicted and the operation to rotate the luxury liner from its capsized position to upright was set to stretch into Tuesday.
