STORY: Betsey Johnson aimed to cure with her spring 2014 collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York on Wednesday (September 11).
The designer set the tone with pill bottles filled with mints serving as invitations to her runway show.
In a press release, the veteran designer said the collection was full of clothes she" loved and would wear" and was her "prescription for dressing."
Models playfully navigated the runway with hot pink wigs, metallic make-up and tons of attitude.
Full tulle dresses in pink, white and metallic silver catered to her rock and roll customers, while flirty florals provided a pretty, yet sexy touch.
The fun vibe continued as seven models hit the runway in colorful briefs with the days of the week printed on the behind.
Johnson ended her show with her signature cartwheel and splits, with her young granddaughter helping out.
