Still going strong Cliff Richard is set to release his 100th album.
The British singing legend who made his name in the 1950s has gone back to his formative years for 'The Fabulous Rock 'n' Roll Songbook'.
Speaking at a shoot for the album's TV ad he said he thoroughly enjoyed recording the collection of American early rock songs by some of the greats who inspired him.
SOUNDBITE Singer, Cliff Richard, saying (English):
''So this is the 100th released album and just think that how funny after all these years my 100th turns out to be something I started off with really it's the iconic rock and roll period of the 50s that inspired me to become like Elvis and Ricky Nelson and Buddy Holly and the others it was a phenomenal period so for me recording the album I felt myself in a very comfortable zone, there was no I didn't worry and or think about any of the songs until it was time to record it because I knew them so well.''
