Prince Harry attends WellChild bravery awards

Prince Harry said the winners of the 2013 WellChild Awards, which recognizes courageous youngsters, were "unbelievably brave". The British royal is patron of the charity and was on hand on Wednesday evening (September 11) to meet some of the children.

The Wellchild charity recognizes the courage of seriously ill children and young people as well as the hard work of the doctors, nurses and other health professionals who care for them.

The prince spoke about being inspired by the children's stories.

"It means so much to us to see what you can achieve and what you can do, because it reminds us of all the things we take for granted it just puts us back in our box and even when I was next door with some of the parents of the winners, it reminded me what life is all about."

Prince Harry was also treated to songs from the children, which he described their performance as "very, very good".
