Thanks to two companies, beer is now available in a non-beverage form.
Billions of people love beer and it comes in all kinds of flavors but until now it was available only in a beverage form.
Well thanks to two innovative companies, beer is now available in a non-beverage form. An Italian brewery and an Italian chocolatier joined forces to create a spreadable beer, similar to Nutella.
Basically the beer can be spread on a sandwich or piece of toast and eaten. The two businesses worked together to thicken the beer and give the substance a smooth and creamy consistency so it could easily be spread.
The product comes in two different flavors, one of which is made with a light beer, while the other is derived from a dark. The British high-end department store, Selfridges & Co. is currently selling these jars.
Selfridges describes the beer spread noting “the result is a sweet and beer-perfumed jelly with an intense scent and a full-bodied taste.”
For those who are wondering, the spread can get eaters drunk, but it remains unknown how much has to be consumed for that to happen.
