Volkswagen's Golf R Cabriolet is more expensive than a new Porsche Boxter. It's a fact we can't get over in the @MotorTorque office.
Is the Golf R Cabriolet worth this hefty price tag?
Quicker than its GTi cabriolet cousin, the R Cabriolet can complete the benchmark sprint in 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of 155mph.
A comfortable, sporty car, the Golf R Cabriolet does lack in practicality and is fairly expensive to run. It is a looker and when the sun is out, is a great car for cruising near the coast or running it through the countryside.
