The mayor of California's second city, San Diego is to resign after a string of allegations of inappropriate behaviour. 70-yr-old Democrat Bob Finer is also facing a sexual harassment lawsuit, which the city will now support him in in exchange for his resignation.
The lawsuit was filed in July by his former press secretary, since when 17 more women have come forward with sexual allegations.
