Leon Logothetisis is hoping to travel around the world on his yellow motorcycle which he calls Kindness One. He has no money, food or shelter, but he's relying on human kindness to help him accomplish that feat.
Ask anyone and they'll say the general societal kindness has gone downhill. Leon Logothetisis is one man who is proving that wrong.
Logothetisis is hoping to travel around the world on his yellow motorcycle which he calls Kindness One. But the most interesting aspect is that he has no money, food or shelter. Basically, he has no resources whatsoever to help him accomplish that feat.
Logothetisis is counting on the generosity of people to keep him going. He explains the decision to take part in the radical journey stating “ I loved the camaraderie of making new friends and treasured the adventure of travel. This passion prompted me to swap my life as a city broker to pursue my dreams of traveling the world.”
His trip also serves another purpose - raising funds for Make a Wish International.
So far, Logothetisis has stayed with a family in Las Vegas who gave him a place to sleep and food. In Pittsburgh, he stayed with a homeless man who shared nourishment and a resting space in a public garage.
He’s even sheltered with Nebraskan cowboys on a ranch.
