There’s nothing like a big, juicy burger.

A woman, who had been dining in Liverpool, United Kingdom dislocated her jaw after ordering and subsequently eating a triple patty burger at a restaurant.

25-year-old Nicola Peate had gone out with her fiancé for dinner. The couple went home after finishing their meals, but the next day Nicola was in a lot of discomfort.

She stated “It felt like I had cramp in my tongue, then I started to get an ear ache and a headache. The next morning I woke up and felt really, really ill. The whole side of my head was hurting.”

The pain shifted towards her jaw, alerting her that it might be dislocated. She quickly went to Royal Liverpool University Hospital to have it checked.

An x-ray was performed and a doctor immediately worked to pop her jaw back in place. Nicola has a medical condition, leaving her with constant hyper-flexible joints. That means she is prone to dislocations.

Ever since the burger incident, Nicola vows to be more conscious when it comes to food size. She also promised to cut a big burger with a knife and fork before eating.
