Cité Leroy and Villa Leroy are in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, France. A métro you could use to get here is PYRENEES. Parc de Belleville is not far away and affords you superb views of Paris, without the touristy crowds and inauthenticity, let alone the high prices of, say, Montmartre.
The socioeconomic mix in this area is great, and you will see such contrasts and variety, you might be staggered. The weather on this August Wednesday afternoon was unusually mild -- normally, Europe is best avoided in July and August. It's hot, crowded and costly. Almost nothing is air conditioned or well ventilated, so you'd do better perhaps in March, May or September. Just a thought.
Some of my artwork and writing will appear again soon in another FREAK WAVE. Thank you for watching, and your comments are welcome.
