Drinking and driving is never a good idea, but one intoxicated man picked the wrong place to take an alcohol induced nap.
32-year-old Jesse L. Blair from Newstead, New York reportedly fell asleep at the wheel of his vehicle in a McDonald’s drive through lane.
Police were called to the scene at around 2 in the morning and authorities found Blair completely unconscious inside his black Chevrolet Malibu. The car was running for the duration of his snooze.
After he was woken up, troopers issued a roadside sobriety and a breath analyzer test - Blair failed both.
The breathalyzer reading came out to 0.14 percent, which is almost twice the legal limit for driving. Cops charged him with driving while intoxicated.
Blair also received some traffic tickets. He is scheduled to appear in court sometime in the near future.
Thankfully Blair did not injure anyone before his stop at McDonalds.
With so many cases of drunk drivers, The National Transportation Safety Board hopes to make it illegal to drive with a blood alcohol content above 0.05.
