US talk show host Oprah Winfrey has apologised for naming Switzerland as the country where she claimed to have encountered racism when buying a 28,000 euros handbag in Zurich.
She made the claim amid a row over asylum seekers' rights in Switzerland blew up with rights groups drawing comparisons with apartheid South Africa.
