Self recorded in a 4-track reel-to-reel deck in the late 70’s in Palo Alto, California, “Take Me Home” comes to us as an introspective voyage from a loner urban landscape into realms of psychedelic West Coast folk-rock punctuated with tinges of fuzz, reverb and analog tape effects added to deep, warm and expressive vocals. An album that reveals itself layer by layer through a well crafted full electric setting, sometimes reminiscent of Tim Buckley with darker undertones. Privately released on Manhole Music, this album has been known only to a handful of collectors, until most recently being reviewed in the acid archives.
