The much awaited Adarsh scam report is expected to be tabled in Maharashtra Assembly on Friday (August 2), the last day of the monsoon session of the state legislature. TIMES NOW was the first to expose how houses meant for Kargil war heroes and war widows were being taken over by the high and mighty of the defence and civilian establishments. It has been reported that the commission's report does not fix direct responsibility on or pass adverse remarks against former Chief Ministers Ashok Chavan, Sushilkumar Shinde and late Vilasrao Deshmukh and instead pinned the responsibility on seven to eight retired or acting senior state officials for the lapses and for misleading the chief ministers.
