Tuesday, July 31, 2013 in Tucson. 15 minutes and 13 seconds This walk began at T.U.S.D. headquarters and carried on west to a bus stop in front of Roskruge Elementary School. They then boarded a bus to the Ronstadt Transit Center, where the event ended after they got off the bus. The walk was held by the group “Moms Demand Action” to demonstrate against carrying guns on public buses. In June 2013, a person carried a machine gun onto a public bus. A complaint was made about it; however there was no law or policy from the bus line that prohibited this. The group asks for a ban on loaded guns being carried onto public buses.
