Julia Merfeld of Muskegon, Michigan, was sentenced today after her husband, whom she tried to have killed, testified on her behalf. She was caught on tape trying to hire a hitman to kill her husband. The hitman turned out to be an undercover officer. She was sentenced to a minimum of five years and eight months in prison.
