A six week old puppy named Mick was diagnosed with a birth defect called swimmer puppy syndrome, which means his legs splay outward rather than underneath him, causing him to be unable to stand, sit, or walk. He was given to the Mia Foundation and immediately started therapy. Now, not only can he stand and walk, he can run.
