Police in Italy have confirmed that at least 36 people have died in a deadly bus crash in the south of the country.
The coach is thought to have been carrying around 40 passengers when it plunged down a 30 metre slope after coming off a flyover near the town of Avellino. It eventually came to rest in heavy undergrowth.
