South star R. Madhavan, who has also done Bollywood films such as Tanu Weds Manu and Jodi Breakers, has now bagged a Hollywood film project, claim sources.
It seems that director Simon West (known for films like Tomb Raider and Expendables 2) has cast the actor as one of the four leads in the 3D reboot of George A Romero's 1968 horror classic, Night Of The Living Dead. The film reportedly revolves around a group of survivors who are fighting to stay alive in New York City which has been plagued with zombies. In the film, Madhavan will play the role of an ex-Marine madly in love with his wife.
It seems West loved Madhavan's performance in 3 Idiots and decided to sign him up for the role.
