KTVU staff members have been fired after a racist joke regarding the crash of Asiana Airlines flight 214 aired on live tv. The staff thought they were airing the confirmed names of the pilots of the plane that crash landed, but were, in fact, not correct. The station quickly apologized for the mistake.
