The Taiwan Excellence Awards is an award that is delivered by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to encourage Taiwan industries to upgrade and incorporate innovation into their products. The Taiwan Excellence Awards Selection is based on five criteria: R&D, design, quality, marketing, and Made In Taiwan.
