Many people dislike their neighbors. However one man in Alaska went to extreme lengths to punish a nearby dweller.
50-year-old Tony Gesin was recently arrested for punching himself in the face. The reason for the bizarre act was because he wanted to get his neighbor arrested for assault.
Gesin called 911 to report that he had been hit in the face. Troopers responded to the scene and Gesin initially stuck to his story, claiming that the neighbor had punched him, however he later admitted that he had caused the injury to himself.
According to a law enforcement authority, an ongoing battle with the two neighbors was the cause behind Gesin’s strange behavior. The two have been in a lengthy dispute over property.
Gesin is now facing a charge of making a false report to law enforcement. A spokesperson for the Alaska State Troopers stated “I think what that report highlights to people is that if you file a false report, there are repercussions. And then you have to face the embarrassment of punching yourself in the face and people finding out about it.”
