The postal service is reportedly moving towards a more "centralized delivery" system, where residents pick up their own mail from clusters of mailboxes located in their neighborhood. CNN says the move would save the postal service $4.5 billion a year. Unions are fighting the move however, saying it would be disruptive for the elderly and disabled.
