Gameplay in SA is pretty straightforward. There’s only one map and it’s a pretty small one. This small size is important, as Zynga has clearly designed SA to be a faster, more casual play experience than HOC. There are no trees to hide in or alternate routes to take. The two sides clash in the middle of the arena; one side takes the advantage and kills/drives the other side back; then the other side regroups and remounts the attack, drives their opponents back, etc.
Due to the simple, sparse nature of the maps this is literally all you can do. There’s no sneaking around for an ambush or trying to split the enemy into two groups or anything else. There’s also no minions, no hidden teleporters, no neutral monsters. It’s three on three combat, straight up.
