Baghdad cleans up after deadly bombings

Another wave of violence in Iraq takes its toll on this Baghdad neighbourhood.

Multiple car bombs in mainly Shi'ite districts of the capital killed at least 30 people on Saturday - most in busy shopping areas where Muslims gathered after breaking their fast during Ramadan.

These attacks are the latest of almost daily targeted violence that's pushing Iraq towards full-blown sectarian conflict.

It was unclear who was behind the lethal bombings.

Insurgents have been recruiting Iraq's Sunni minority who resent Shi'ite domination since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003.

More than 530 people have reportedly been killed in militant attacks already in July.
