Jordanain king meets interim Egyptian president

STORY: The King of Jordan, Abdallah the second, is the first head of state to visit Egypt, on Saturday (July 20) after the removal of Mursi from the presidency.

The Jordanian king met with interim president Adli Mansour at the Ittihadiya Palace in Cairo.

The Jordanian king is in Cairo for a one day visit and has also met with the Egyptian Prime Minister Hazem Biblawi and Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy while in Cairo.

Also on Saturday, the newly appointed foreign minister, Nabil Fahmy, held a news briefing in which he highlighted key foreign policy strategy for the current 'technocrat' interim government.
