The governor of Gorontalo, Indonesia has sent word to his lead officials that they must replace their female secretaries with males.
His reason is the number of office affairs being reported.
The governor is also not pleased that his top staff members are abandoning the needs of their wives and children while indulging their secretaries-slash-mistresses.
He asserts that while their poor wives receive nothing when their husbands return from official trips, the men’s secretaries are showered with perfume and designer handbags.
The governor believes his staff will comply with his order, although there will be no repercussions for those who don’t.
He also said he’s offered the 50 officials with female secretaries the option of hiring “old women who are no longer attractive”.
Top female officials are permitted to continue hiring female secretaries if they choose, regardless of age or level of attractiveness.
This is the same governor who, last year, demanded that the wages of 32 hundred male civil service workers be placed in their wives’ accounts as a deterrent from extramarital activities.
