Two men in Illinois are in hot water for an incident over a pot brownie. A 57-year-old maid, who was employed by one of the male’s parents, had been cleaning the house on June 7th.
She noticed a brownie placed on top of a cabinet and decided to eat it. The housekeeper became faint and nauseous so she voiced her concerns to the 20-something male in the house.
The maid was taken to the hospital but she told paramedics that she had eaten a brownie which may have smelt like marijuana. The medics alerted police, who later questioned the employers' son.
He told police that his parents were vacationing overseas, so he hosted a party at his house the previous night. One of his friends, a 22-year-old male, stayed over at his place. The men was initially uncooperative, however they later showed investigators a trash can filled with pot brownies.
The housekeeper was uninjured and released from the hospital.
Although she did not wish to press charges again the two men, law enforcement still charged them with reckless conduct.
