Firefighters in eastern China's Shandong province rescued a woman trapped in flood waters on Thursday, state media reported.
Seven firefighters were sent to rescue the farmer, who had been making her way to market to sell watermelons, CCTV said.
She was trapped by raging flood waters and was found by the emergency services sitting on a motocultivator trailer, according to CCTV.
Firefighters waded into the floodwaters and, waist deep in the torrent with a rope tied to one rescuer's body, pulled the woman to safety.
