An unsuspecting male homeowner allowed his female neighbor to swim naked in his pool. While the man watched her do laps in the buff, her partner was indoors stealing the victim's belongings.
It's the oldest trick in the books.
And two alleged crooks in Tennessee pulled off a clever burglary.
According to a 54-year-old homeowner, a couple who lived nearby recently arrived at his residence in Crossville during the mid-afternoon.
The lady reportedly asked her male companion to return to their own house to retrieve some cigarettes. She then asked the homeowner if she could swim in his pool.
Once the unsuspecting man walked her to the pool, the woman asked if she could swim naked. The homeowner was more than willing to allow her to dive in the buff.
He reportedly watched as she removed her clothes, jumped in the pool and swam for roughly 20 minutes. When the female was finished with her laps, the homeowner handed her a towel. She dried off and left the residence.
The 54-year-old returned indoors to find a gun, medication and jewelry had been stolen. According to police, nearly $2,000 worth of his belongings were stolen.
The two suspects were quickly identified but police could not locate them for questioning.
