A huge dust cloud has blown through suburbs in Phoenix, Arizona severely limiting visibility in the area for several kilometres.

Aerial footage taken from a news helicopter captured the storm, known as a haboob, on camera.

The dust storm followed heavy rains and strong winds in other parts of the state.

This type of storm, which often disappears within minutes, is relatively common in the large desert communities found in Arizona.

The Mercedes-Benz raced by Juan Manuel Fangio is the star of the show at the Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed sale.

Goodwood could be the venue for a new world record when the Mercedes-Benz driven by Juan Manuel Fangio goes up for auction on Friday, July 12.

Lot number 320 in the Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed sale could fetch more than £10 million, due to its untouched condition and historic significance.

The car won the 1954 German Grand Prix, on its first outing, and continued its winning streak at the subsequent Swiss Grand Prix.

Fangio's success in the Mercedes helped him clinch his second world championship title.
Bonhams historian Doug Nye describes it as "an extraordinarily iconic piece of living history".

The car is expected to sell for a seven, or eight figure sum.
