Anyone with a creative idea can raise environmental awareness.
Henrik Dahle is a perfect example of a tree hugger. The Norwegian man is an artist, who also enjoys climbing trees.
That hobby has seemingly taken over his life as he has climbed 365 trees in a year, a new one for each day. To keep things interesting Dahle invited guests to climb with him.
He chronicled conversations with his tree-loving companions on his blog called UpTrees. Some of the unlikely climbers include politicians, a class of 9-year-old children, an anthropologist, a belly dancer, a former drug dealer and a woman needing a heart transplant.
Dahle is looking to make a color book about his year-long tree climbing journey. The book will have written excerpts from his diary, which includes conversations with a diverse group of people. Photographs will also be featured.
He is trying to raise money by crowdfunding, as he spent a good portion of his savings on the project already.
