British police launch a new investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann after uncovering new leads.
The three-year-old girl vanished six years ago whilst on a family holiday in Portugal, leading to a global search that gripped the world's media.
The case sparked massive international interest and numerous reported sightings from Belgium and Spain to Morocco, France and Malta but Madeleine's fate remains a mystery.
Police launched a review of the case in 2011 after the missing girl's parents wrote to the British Prime Minister, saying not enough was being done to find their daughter.
