Sheryl Sandberg visits Japan

Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg gave a thumbs up to the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Tuesday (July 2nd), praising his use of the social network site.

Sandberg regularly visits Facebook offices in Japan though this is her first meeting with Abe in his role as PM.

The Japanese Prime Minister is a keen user of social media, with more than 370,000 followers on his Facebook page.

"You do very good posts, very authentic. You are able to communicate with your constituents directly, and we think it's wonderful", Sandberg said.

Since the publication of her best-selling book "Lean in: Women, Work and the Will to Lead" in March of this year, Sandberg has receive wide media attention.
